KY - Lawrence County: Benjamin Corder Notice that there is also a Van Swearingen on the same page -- this was a common name in Frederick County, VA, where Benjamin Corder's grandfather, Edward I, was one of the first settlers. Another interesting thing of note is that there is a Bell (the Wayne County KY Corders frequently married Bells), and an Osborne (Elijah Corder Jr., nephew of Benjamin, m. an Osborne).

OH - Auglaize County: John MiltonCorder John Milton Corder with wife Ruth Lusk and family. 80-year-old Benjamin, father of John Milton, is also living in the household.

IA - Decatur County: Cintha Corder Adair Cintha Ellen Corder (< John Milton < Benjamin) and her husband Robert Vinson Adair and their children are listed on this 1860 Decatur Couty, IA census. Robert died of wounds received in the war and most of the children were put in an orphanage. Cintha later remarried. See photo of Robert and Cintha Corder Adair.
