ca The Lindley Family
Photo Album (an allied line)
Photos courtesy of Thelma Henderson Schoolfield and Juanita McManus
This collection belonged
to Eliza
Harriet Lindley Henderson (ca. 1830-1903). Eliza was the daughter
of Jonathan
Lindley (1796-1866) and Camilla
Meachem Lindley (1810-1861) of Chatham County, NC. In 1849
John and Camilla Lindley moved to Howard County, Indiana. Eliza
Lindley Henderson remained behind in Chatham County with husband
Isaac
R. Henderson (1827-1862). Her albums were eventually passed
to grandson Artemas Hezekiah Henderson (namesake of this online
library) and granddaughter Manie Henderson Capps, who passed them
on in turn to Thelma Henderson Schoolfield and Juanita McManus,
respectively. Thelma and Juanita kindly loaned the photos
to Laura Henderson in 2006 so that they could be posted and shared
with our extended family. If you can identify any of the unknown
subjects in these photos, please
contact the administrator.
